Welcome to the SiteView Private Beta
You're one of a small group of contractors helping us shape SiteView. This page walks you through your first week — how to get set up, run a real job end-to-end, and send the feedback that actually changes the product.
Step-by-step
- Work through the 8-step beta checklist below — most contractors finish in about an hour.
- Run at least one real job through SiteView in the next two weeks (not a test project).
- Open Send Feedback any time something is slow, confusing, or missing — we read every submission.
Your 8-step beta checklist
- 1Set your password and sign in
Open the Account Setup email from noreply@siteview.build (check spam if it's not in your inbox). Click Set My Password — the link is good for 24 hours — and you'll land in your SiteView dashboard. Bookmark siteview.build and add it to your phone's home screen.
- 2Complete your company profile
Settings → Company Profile. Add your company name, phone, address, contractor license number, and upload a square logo (PNG or JPG). This is what your clients see on every estimate and invoice.
Company setup guide → - 3Invite your team
Settings → Team. Invite your PM, foreman, bookkeeper, and field staff. Each person gets their own login with role-based permissions.
- 4Add your first client
Clients → New Client. Enter the client's name, email, phone, and project address. Double-check the email — that's where estimate approval links and invoices get sent.
Adding clients → - 5Build and send an estimate
Estimates → New Estimate. Add sections and line items (labor, materials, subs, etc.), then click Send to Client. They get a unique link, review it on any device, type their name and check the e-signature box to approve. No login required on their side.
Estimates guide → - 6Track real costs with Project Costing
When the estimate is approved, the project is created automatically. Open Project Costing on the project to set categories and planned amounts, then log expenses (with photo receipts from your phone) as the work happens. Estimated vs. actual updates in real time.
Project Costing guide → - 7Send your first invoice
From the project, click Create Invoice. SiteView pre-fills it from the project details — set the due date, add notes, attach the PDF, and email it. Every invoice has a Download PDF button with your logo and company info baked in.
Invoices guide → - 8Send us feedback
This is the most important step. Inside the app, open Send Feedback in the sidebar (or go to /feedback). Tell us what's broken, slow, confusing, or missing. We read every submission and usually reply within one business day at support@siteview.build.
What we're looking for from beta testers
- Use SiteView on at least one real job (not a test project).
- Tell us when something doesn't match how you actually run your business.
- Flag anything that's slower than what you do today.
- Suggest the one feature that would make you switch off your current tool.
Video walkthroughs
Short screen recordings (1–3 minutes each) covering the full workflow. We're filming these now — placeholders are listed so you can see what's coming. Want one prioritized? Let us know.

- Your account will stay active at no charge during the private beta. Founding contractor pricing will be shared before public launch. No obligation to continue unless SiteView is a fit for your business.
- Everything you add during the beta — clients, estimates, jobs, invoices — stays in your account.
