Who can use this
Anyone with permission to manage clients.
What the client sees
Client records are internal. Clients only see documents and links you explicitly send.

Before you start

  • Your company profile is filled in

Add a client

  1. Go to Clients and click New Client.
  2. Enter the client's name, email, and phone. Email is what we use to send estimates and invoices.
  3. Add the primary project address. Clients with multiple sites can have more addresses added from the client detail page.
  4. Save. The client is now selectable on estimates, projects, and invoices.

Keep everything in one place

  • Open a client profile to see every estimate, project, and invoice tied to them.
  • Use the Notes field for preferences or contact quirks the rest of the team should know.
  • Double-check email addresses on imported clients — they're used for approvals.

Troubleshooting

The client doesn't appear when creating an estimate.

Confirm the client was saved to your current workspace and isn't archived.

Duplicate client records.

Keep the record with history attached and archive the empty duplicate.
