How to Add and Manage Clients

Clients are the foundation of every estimate, project, and invoice in SiteView. Here's how to set them up right.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Clients in the sidebar and click New Client.
  2. Enter the client's name, email, and phone number. Email is what we use to send estimates and invoices.
  3. Add the primary project address. If a client has multiple sites, you can add more addresses from the client detail page.
  4. Save. The client is now available to pick when creating estimates, projects, and invoices.
  5. Open the client's profile any time to see every estimate, project, and invoice tied to them in one place.

Tips

  • If you import clients from another system, double-check email addresses — they're used for client approvals.
  • Use the Notes field to capture project preferences or contact quirks the rest of the team should know.
