How to Create an Invoice and Download the PDF

Invoices in SiteView pull straight from an estimate or draw schedule, so you're not re-typing the scope into a separate tool.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the project (or go to Invoices → New Invoice) and pick the estimate to bill against.
  2. Choose what to bill — full estimate, a draw, a percentage, or specific line items.
  3. Review totals, taxes, and the due date. Add a memo if you want a note on the invoice.
  4. Click Send to email the client a payment link, or Download PDF to grab a clean copy.
  5. When the client pays online (Stripe or Square), SiteView marks the invoice paid automatically.

Tips

  • Set your default payment terms in Settings → Invoices.
  • Use draw schedules to bill in milestones on bigger jobs instead of one giant invoice at the end.
