Getting Started with SiteView
What to set up first in SiteView — company profile, team, your first client, estimate, and invoice — so the app is useful on day one.

- Who can use this
- Owners and admins. Everyone else can follow along once they're invited.
- What the client sees
- Nothing is client-visible until you send an estimate, portal link, or invoice.
Before you start
- A SiteView login
- Your company logo and business details handy
Set up your company
- Open Settings → Company. Add your business name, logo, address, phone, and email — these appear on estimates and invoices.
- In Settings → Estimates, set your default markup or target margin and tax rate so you don't set them on every line.
- In Settings → Invoices, set your default payment terms.
Invite your team
For: Owner, Admin
- Go to Settings → Team and invite each person by email.
- Assign a role so permissions match what they actually do.
- Ask them to accept the invite email and set a password.
Run your first job end to end
- Add a client from Clients → New Client, including the project address.
- Create an estimate from Estimates → New Estimate, add sections and line items, and save.
- Send the estimate. Your client reviews and approves with an e-signature from any device.
- On approval, SiteView creates the project so you can start project costing.
- Log expenses as work happens, then invoice from the approved estimate.
Put it on the truck
- SiteView runs in the browser — nothing to download.
- On a phone, use Add to Home Screen for one-tap access and push notifications.
Troubleshooting
A teammate never got the invite email.
Ask them to check spam, then resend the invite from Settings → Team. Invites expire, so a fresh one usually fixes it.
Your logo looks cropped on PDFs.
Use a square logo on a transparent or white background and re-upload in Settings → Company.
