Where Project Photos and Files Are Stored
Find every photo your crew captured on a job — quick capture, daily logs, expenses, and uploads all land on the project's Photos tab.

Availability
- Project Photos — On for most companies. Contact SiteView if you don't see the Photos tab.
- Who can use this
- Anyone who can open the project.
- What the client sees
- Photos are internal by default. They only reach the client when you publish them to the client portal.
Before you start
- A project
Find your photos
- Open the project and click the Photos tab.
- Everything captured for that job appears there — quick capture from the field, photos attached to daily logs, and files uploaded from the office.
- Filter by date or source to narrow a long list.
- Open any photo to see who captured it and when.
Other places files live
- Receipt images stay attached to their expense and also appear in the project's files.
- Estimate and change-order attachments live on those documents.
- Planning/Notes/Files holds company documents that aren't tied to one project.
Troubleshooting
A crew member's photos are missing.
Confirm they captured them against the right project, and that the upload finished — photos taken with no signal finish uploading when the phone reconnects.
Photos are sideways.
Re-upload from the photo library rather than a screenshot; rotation data is preserved on originals.
